Location convenient for wedding at nearby lake. Good quality food at on-site restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Charming lobby with rustic atmosphere. Room's character differs from lobby.

Good location for weekend in Lake Louise. Just a walk down to the restaurant Temple Pizza. Free Wi-Fi was a welcome feature.

Stayed at a charming lodge a short walk from a beautiful lake. The hotel had lots of character and a sense of history, with cozy common areas. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but cozy, with a lovely view of the mountains from the porch. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub on the rooftop terrace and the choice of dining options, from a more expensive restaurant to a well-priced lounge menu with delicious food. a fantastic stay at Deer Lodge.
Nothing to be said. 😊

Location
Staff attitude was off hand and rather rude. There were no dining facilities on the Saturday night and limited for Sunday breakfast and we were not told proir to our check in on Saturday evening - too late for us to find any alternate.

Location
There was no attempt to help with an early breakfast, not even coffee which is disappointing given the cost of lodging.

Conveniently located near a popular attraction. Well-stocked bar and restaurant on-site. Daily happy hour available. Cozy lounge area with fireplace. Laundry facilities and games room provided.

The location was great, within walking distance to Lake Louise
The halls were dark and the carpets were dark and worn.

Paying 140$ a night for a room with no TV that was smaller then a size 7 shoe box

I had an amazing stay at this cozy log-cabin hotel near the stunning Lake Louise. The value for money was excellent and my room was spacious and comfortable. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk away from the lake, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast menu could benefit from offering a cold buffet option for those who are not into skiing or heavier breakfasts.

The value for money at the hotel was great, and the room was cozy and rustic. The location of the hotel was excellent, right beside Lake Louise, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast selection could have been better.

I found thestaff made up for the lack of modern facilities. I liked the location I liked the breakfast and the car parking facilites were conveniently placed.
I thought the rooms were very small, and every sound could be heard from my room. I thought the lack of television severely impacted my stay as I was asingle person who needed to be able to have some entertainment in the room in the evenings when going out by oneself was inconvenient.

Rooftop spa - although it was rusty and the changing areas were grubby and in need of a refurb, the nearness to Lake Louise itself, the excellent friendly reception staff.
Dark rooms and corridors, lack of tv, hairdryer and waste bin in a very compact room, overpriced.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the lake. We didn't have to worry about parking as it was conveniently available. Being able to come back to the lodge for a complimentary breakfast after watching the sunrise was a great start to our day. The lodge also had its own restaurants that served delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff was incredibly friendly and made our trip special. Tiffany at the bar deserves a special mention for her exceptional service. The lodge itself had a charming and rustic feel, with beautiful interior and layout. The rooftop hot tub offered stunning mountain views and was a relaxing spot to unwind.

I liked the fact we could walk to Lake Louise and go horse-riding and hiking directly from the hotel.
The rooms were small and in need of refurbishment. Fine for a night but not comfortable for longer stays. I enjoyed the hotel but it was very expensive. We stayed in other hotels with better facilities which included breakfast (Deer Lodge did not) for a cheaper price. I think you pay for the location.
